Besides worship,
we have two Bible study
opportunities during the school year
on Tuesdays at noon at Liberty Central with a light lunch
and at 7:30pm at
Mt Pleasant.
Each week we have a discussion about a chapter from a book of the Bible. In the fall of 2026 we will study the book of Acts.
We are always open to welcome people who want to get into the Bible.
Our faith communities have people who want to help people. Come connect with people and help us, in the words of John Wesley, "Do all the good you can."
The Mt Pleasant congregation takes a special collection each week to be distributed each month throughout the year to various ministries. They also undertake special collections of needed items like food or health kits at various times when those needs are raised from the ministries offering services.

Starting during Holy Week 2026 I began writing about the 6 chapters between the Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday stories in John 13 and 20. Following Easter I began writing a commentary each day Monday through Saturday through the books of Luke and Acts. Currently I am working through the 66 chapters of the book of Isaiah over the next 11 weeks. Blogger: A Chapter A Day
Following in the footsteps of Charles Wesley (brother of John who founded Methodism) since my retirement in 2019 I try to write a hymn each day with the hope to write 6000 like Charles did. I have written 1600 so far. Here is my blog listing them up through last month.
This is the first book I have published (and e-published). In 2022 over a period of 5 months I wrote 150 Hymns based on each of the Psalms. Some are based on the whole psalm others on a single verse.
This is a collection of 40 hymns I wrote for preschool children based on Bible stories set to nursery rhyme tunes.
